Converge Great Lakes (Conference–Affiliation): In April 2011 my wife Betty and I completed the Converge Great Lakes church planting assessment process. We were thrilled to receive a strong recommendation to join this family of believers and to start a new church. My wife and I served faithfully for 15 years at Waukegan Community Church where God equipped us to serve as representatives of the gospel. It is difficult to find the words to express the joy and gratitude we have to God for calling us on this new journey to expand His kingdom. We are joining efforts with Converge Great Lakes and the Milwaukee Metro Area LEAD Team in planting Turning Point Life Church in Kenosha, WI. God has gifted me with the ability to preach and teach His word along with the opportunity to share His word with people from many ethnic backgrounds. Turning Point will be a church whose primary focus is serving and partnering with Kenosha communities to assist those who do not know Jesus Christ.

Mission: Turning Point Life believers’ heart beat is to love ordinary people into becoming amazing followers of Christ. Our desire is to allow God to use us as highways to make His love known to those who are in need of a turning point (Savior) in their lives. “I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father” (John 14: 12, NIV).

Vision: We exist to love one another to live out biblical principles to demonstrate faith commitment in Christ, to build loving and caring community, to experience a new Life to witness a growing community that follow Christ, and to carry out the “Great Mission.“

Expected Soft Launch (Save the Dates):We are planning to have soft launches of TPLC  during the the months of April – August.  We will have our 1st Sunday Service April 1, 2012 (“Choose Wisely”) at 10:30 am.   We will have an Easter service on April 8, 2012 ( “He is Alive”) at 10:30 am.  Please join us as we continue to grow.   Please continue to pray Romans 15:30-32, on our behalf:

  • Pray deliverance from unbelievers
  • Pray our ministry would be accepted by the saints (believers) in Kenosha
  • Pray TPLC would be allowed to carry out its vision and mission and the gospel message would be refreshing to both non-believers and saints of God.
